The agenda for the Health and Well-being Board meeting of 16th March 2018 shows a motion to include a representative of Reading Voluntary Action as a non-voting member of the Reading Health and Well-being Board.
This resolves a long-standing concern as to whether the voluntary and charitable sector in Reading could be adequately represented on the existing board. Whether this has any connection with the proposal to jointly tender for Healthwatch services with Wokingham remains to be seen. The board must also change to reflect the merger of the four Berkshire West CCGs into one.
