Xmas and Winter Social 2019 - Wed 18th December - Friends Meeting House

South Reading Patient Voice will be holding its Winter and Xmas social for members and their guests on Wednesday, 18th December at Friends Meeting House at 6.45pm. It takes the form of a Bring and Share supper at 5 pounds a head. Non alcoholic mulled wine and soft drinks plus quiche or pizza supplied - bring and share salads and desserts. Cathy Cousins is the contact and coordinator for reserving places and checking your contribution.

Merger of CCGs across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West proposed - views sought

The CCGs for Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West have issued an "engagement document" - something less formal that a consultation document - in which they propose a single commissioning authority for the common WeBOB area (see attached document). Royal Berkshire Hospital meets 3 of 4 Standards on 7 day Working

In a latest assessment, covering July 2019, the Royal Berkshire Hospital has met 3 out of 4 clinical standards for 7-day working. One of the starndards met reqquires that 90% of patients shall have access to six kinds of standard diagnostic tests: Microbiology,, CT scans, Ultrasound scans, Echo cardiography, MRI scans, Upper gastro-intestinal endoscopy.

Disability Awareness Day - 11am, Thursday 15th August 2019 - Oracle Mall

The Disability Awareness Day 2019 takes place on Thursday, August 15, under the theme of 'Staying Healthy Mind and Body.' The free event on the ground floor of the Oracle Shopping Centre will run from 11am to 3pm and will offer fun, interactive and informative sessions.
