Reading will mark Carers Week (10th - 14th June) with a number of events, including the Market Place in Broad Street Mall at 11am - 2pm on Wednesday, 12th June, in which South Reading Patient Voice will take part. Berkshire CCGs will be running a "Hidden Carers" campaign to encourage carers who do not recognise their role and entitlements (often a son or daughter looking after a parent in their middle life) to step forward and ask for their rights as carers.
