South Central Ambulance Trust Rated as Inadequate by CQC

By Administrator , 11 January 2026

The Care Quality Commission has rated the South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust Inadequate after an inspection of its call centres and Urgent and Emergency Care. The categories in which the trust was judged poor were safety and leadership. The CQC noted that "Some staff who raised concerns were treated badly." - a tell-tale sign of poor management. Anyone who has seen the relentlessly and unbelievably upbeat bulletins from the trust will realise that it does not have an honest relationship with the public.
